State Bank Contributes $20,000 to The Heart of Lebanon

LEBANON (August 16, 2021) – State Bank, an independently owned and operated community bank, hosted a reception on Friday, August 13 in conjunction with the Lebanon Courthouse Car Cruise-in and Music on the Plaza to celebrate its 2021 $20,000 contribution to The Heart of Lebanon initiative. To date, State Bank has donated $40,000 to the revitalization of the downtown.

“Nothing pleases us more than giving back to the communities that have contributed to our success over the years,” said Mike Baker, President and CEO at State Bank. “And the placemaking efforts of The Heart of Lebanon align with our values to help small businesses succeed. We are excited to see the impact of this next $20,000 donation as it continues to help fund the revitalization efforts of this historic downtown.”

The event was hosted in Downtown Lebanon on the Square, in conjunction with Mayor Matt Gentry’s office and The Heart of Lebanon, and was attended by business leaders, State Bank customers, and distinguished guests of the City.

“A strong downtown has always been vital for our community’s success, and I am thankful that State Bank shares that vision and is investing in the vibrancy of the Heart of Lebanon and our community,” said Mayor Matt Gentry. “I am confident State Bank’s continued support will help our City’s core continue to thrive.”
